Woven: Ministry Among Women

Women are vital to the redemptive mission of God. Woven–our ministry among women–is committed to Cultivating Connected Followers of Christ. Many things vie for the attention of modern women. We must discern wisely the best ways to invest our time in seeking to become the women of God we desire to be. We do that by spending intentional time ministering to, for, and with one another as we seek to live gospel-centered lives.

Woven is overseen by the Woven Leadership Team, women who prayerfully guide the ministry that flows through it. We have our own group on Realm, FBC’s communication platform, where you are able to register for events and where all information is posted. Join this vibrant community of women and discover what we have planned for Fall 2024.

These core ministries are the heartbeat of Woven (click for more information):

Titus 2 exhorts older women to be reverent in behavior and to teach what is good. All Christ-followers are charged with “teaching what accords with sound doctrine.” In the spirit of Titus 2, our T2 Pods Discipleship Ministry was designed to create small pods (one leader and three women) who grow together in the grace and knowledge of Christ.

To prepare for leading a T2 Pod, we would like for you to first grow through the curriculum yourself. Time together is comprised of Bible study, Life Story, training in disciple-making tools, and prayer. We also study how our understanding of God’s love impacts our ability to flourish spiritually.

After completing the course of study, women launch their own pods and guide others through the same experience.

Woven offers Bible studies throughout the ministry year, often with the choice of daytime or evening meeting times. Bible Studies focus on helping women cherish God's Word and dive into Scripture for growth and change.

These events are opportunities for women to be spiritually sharpened in a particular area from a woman’s unique perspective.

Our Fall Retreat is the largest gathering of the ministry year and a great place invite your friends and connect with women in the community! Women come together to spend extended time together learning from God’s Word, laughing from the heart, and listening to God. This is a spiritually refreshing encounter where lasting friendships are born.

Gather is a monthly prayer event that brings women together to pray Scripture. Each gathering takes place for one hour on a Saturday morning, and centers on an important theme in the life of the church.
