Fellowship Student Ministries: FSM

FSM is our ministry to 7th-12th grade students. We strive to make FSM a place for every student to belong and to be known, living in the truth "Together is Better". Our hope is that every teenager would find life in Jesus and become “a disciple who makes disciples”.

At FSM, we’ve created a large group environment on Sunday nights from 4:30pm-6:45pm that is relevant for students in 7th-12th grades. We have a lot of fun while intentionally helping kids learn to connect, worship, and learn to follow Jesus! We aim to pay attention to what's gong on in the lives of students and offer genuine care for them in the highs and lows of teenage experience. This happens in our small group environment. Every week, under the guidance of our leaders, students gather wit their small group to spend time in a close-knit setting of community, talking, processing, and praying about what's going on in each student's life.

Our prayer at FSM is to be a disciple making movement like we see in Acts 2:42-47, for every leader and student to be a disciple who makes disciples. Disciple groups of 2-5 students led by a 242 leader will go through 3 studies in one year (walk, reach, invest) that help them be a disciple of Jesus who makes disciples of Jesus. These groups meet every other week on Wednesday nights 6:30pm-8:00pm (the off-night Weeks of Adult Community Groups).

We keep it simple: big group, small groups, and 242 groups. And we believe wholeheartedly in the biblical basis of community … Together is better!

Ministry to Parents

You are the greatest influence in the life of your teenager. Research proves it time and again that your voice is the loudest in their life. That is a great opportunity for you to make a forever impact in the life of your teenager. It is also a great opportunity for us to partner with you and cheer you on in the process.

How we partner:

  1. Family Experience: We give you access to an incredible tool called The Family Experience. This resource is designed to help parents strategically pass down their faith to their teenager in an annual ceremony.
  2. Ongoing Support: We want to partner with you and help your student live a life passionate for Jesus! We are in your corner and happy to help any way we can! We encourage all parents to be in contact with us as you have needs. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Connor Shoup at   or the church office at 615.893.6652.
